美国杜克大学商学院陈旗教授将于2007年12月24日-2008年1月9日在中国经济与管理研究院讲授《对策论及会计理论专题》(Seminar in Accounting Theory) 课程，请中国经济与管理研究院数理经济与数理金融实验班、2006级硕士研究生、2007级硕士研究生以及参加2007年高级研究生经济学课程的学员做好准备，同时也欢迎本校其他院系以及其他高校感兴趣的老师和同学免费参加。

“ This doctoral course explores the basic concepts in contract theory, and their applications in accounting research. It will cover three main topics: moral hazard, mechanism design and disclosure. (These topics are only a subset of the overall topics covered under contract theory. They are chosen because they are most closely related to the current state of analytical accounting research.) For each topic, we will introduce the basic economic concepts and models, followed by their applications in economics and in accounting. The main objectives we hope to achieve in this course are for you to (1) have a solid understanding of the basic economic concepts in contract theory; (2) be able to read and understand analytical research in accounting and to see their connections with the basic economic concepts, and in doing so, develop the ability to critically evaluate theoretical works; and (3) acquire the basic skills in modeling accounting problems.

To achieve these goals, we will spend significant amount of time in class discussing in detail the seminal papers in each area (these are the papers with an asterisk on the reading list). As such, students are required to read these papers before coming to class and to read the application/extension papers on their own.”
